Joannie Bates

Joannie Bates has always loved good design and great craftsmanship. With moves to different areas of the country and a recent foray into investment properties and property management, she realized that a career in real estate was within her reach, and she decided to go for it.

“I really love real estate. I have always been passionate about the industry, and I am excited to put my knowledge and expertise to use for my clients.”

Originally from southeast Michigan, Joannie met her husband Aaron at Michigan State University, and soon after moved to Georgia for the first time. It was here that the young couple settled down and started a family. Subsequent moves to North Carolina, Virginia and back to Georgia have meant that Joannie has now experienced ten home purchases and many sales first-hand.

Joannie has never been one to rest on her laurels. She has at times been dedicated home school teacher to her children, furniture refinisher and sales rep to her community, and more recently head of fundraising for the Harrison High School Band Board of Directors.

With four children who are now “launching” out of the home, Joannie is putting her strong networking skills and honest, loyal attitude to work for her clients. She has a background in Human Resources Management, so she understands how to listen to her clients’ needs, and she is constantly doing research on the market to provide the best advice.
